Linen is the best fiber. It grows in France (Normandy is the world's leading linen producer 🇫🇷), requires no pesticides or lots of water, and is naturally soft and hardwearing. We all remember our parents' linen suits that wrinkled as soon as they came out of the closet. But the industry has made a lot of progress in this area, and today offers us cool, comfortable products.

🛞 Rubber

A material you find a lot under your sneakers because it's flexible, grippy and shock-resistant. Natural rubber comes from latex, a liquid derived from the rubber tree. Synthetic rubber, on the other hand, comes from the chemical industry. So obviously, at Rafale, we give top priority to natural rubber, which pollutes much less than synthetic. And we systematically indicate the category of rubber present in each product so that you can choose with all the cards in hand.

This off-season ballerina is inspired by '60s style icons like Jane Birkin and Twiggy. Built on a gently chiseled square toe, the Ruth is a sculptural, modern take on the classic doll shoe.

Handmade in Portugal from European linen and vegetable-tanned leather, the upper features two elastic straps for optimal support.
