WASTE Paris: The responsible Parisian leather goods and ready-to-wear brand

We present to you WASTE Paris, the brand new brand that has just arrived on Rafale Market. A Parisian leather goods and ready-to-wear brand that stands out through its ultra-desirable micro-collections made of twisted basics. All made from upcycled materials and European manufacturing. We tell you about it and let you discover the products .

What is the story of the WASTE Paris brand?

The founder of the brand, Valentine, was a stylist for 12 years in different fashion houses. After observing the enormous waste of fabrics produced and ultimately not used in the industry, Valentine decided to change things by creating her own upcylcling brand. She is launching the Parisian brand WASTE in 2023 with the ambition of transforming unused textiles into super desirable pieces.

What is WASTE? A sustainable and desirable brand

WASTE's ambition is to offer you a wardrobe of timeless, easy-to-wear pieces but always with that little hyper-fashion detail that makes all the difference. To avoid overproduction, WASTE only develops micro-collections. All their creations are made from dormant stocks and manufactured in Europe, which is also called upcycling. An approach that is both responsible and stylish.

Valentine noticed that major fashion houses generated a lot of waste due to overproduction, particularly of fabrics. Miles of fabric produced each season, but much of it was never used and ended up thrown away. It was this awareness that pushed Valentine to launch WASTE based on upcycling. By using dormant stocks – high-quality fabrics that remain unused in warehouses – WASTE gives these materials a second life and considerably reduces the environmental impact of its production.

How is WASTE committed to ethical fashion?

WASTE does not just offer stylish and ethical clothing. The brand is also committed to ethical production practices. All clothing is made in Europe, ensuring fair working conditions and fair wages for workers. Additionally, by limiting collections and using existing materials through upcycling, WASTE contributes to the reduction of waste in the fashion industry.

Each piece from WASTE is designed with attention to detail and quality. Valentine and her team carefully select fabrics and ensure that each garment is both durable and comfortable. This approach creates clothing that stands the test of time and can be worn season after season.
